The Southern California News Group is seeking a talented and aggressive journalist to cover crime and public safety in the Inland Empire. You will be part of a team that covers L.A., Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. The ideal candidate is tenacious and able to write gracefully and quickly in response to breaking news for online and mobile platforms, while also writing through for print. Most reporters work remotely, but there is office space available in parts of our coverage area. This is a hybrid position responsible for reporting three nights a week while also serving as the night editor for the news group on Saturday and Sunday. Please note - Candidates must reside within 30 miles, or be willing to relocate to, the Inland Empire area.
