Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope : The Product Engineering Supervisor oversees all day-to-day tasks related to the New Product Introduction (NPI) life cycle including but not limited to: initial design/concept review, working with customer on change requests, oversight of all initial production runs, finalizing product specifications prior to full production, post-mortem activities, and daily support of Product Engineers. The Product Engineering Supervisor will report to the Product Engineering Manager. Duties and Responsibilities : Recommends changes to designs in order to maximize yields Organizes all product development projects and tasks Provides leadership direction to daily workforce functions Ensures engineers on team have resources to complete assigned tasks Prioritizes work to ensure engineering resources are used to produce the highest return on investment Makes recommendations to engineering manager concerning all aspects of the manufacturing process Works with operations teams to ensure all needs are met Follows all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals N ote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel. Essential Knowledge and Skills : Thoroughly familiar with all processes as they apply to the printed circuit board industry Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies to include SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Design of Experiments, and Problem Solving techniques Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels of the organization Knowledge and application of statistical techniques for process control Knowledge and application of failure mode effect analysis techniques as applied to both process development and process improvement Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job Education and Experience : Education Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related science required or equivalent experience.
