You'll be hands-on from day one, all training is provided inhouse.
You will be:
Learning how to laminate and vacuum bag carbon fiber and other composite materials for curing in an autoclave
Working with autoclaves and ovens to cure Composite Materials
Getting hands-on experience in the building and assembly of composite components and substructures
Cutting, trimming, bonding, and finishing composite parts to precise specifications
Gaining knowledge in how to interpret lamination and assembly manuals
Growing your abilities in helping create master molds and patterns
Maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Collaborating closely with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines and quality expectations
Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized
Participating in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen, GEAR and ISO-based processes
Requirements
You don't need to be an expert - you just need the right mindset:
With training, you are comfortable using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, gram scales, scissors, knives and other power tools
You have a willingness to learn how to read composite manuals and follow detailed instructions
You are motivated by problem-solving and using hands-on skills
You have a willingness to learn about composite materials, resins, and adhesives
You have the basics around a computer to enter your timesheet
You are team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
You are passionate about building cool things - especially motorsport-related components
