Master's degree in business or related discipline.
Three years of professional work experience.
Two years of teaching/training on management related topics in academic and/or organizational settings.

Experience teaching various class sizes and formats for undergraduate or graduate courses including Strategic Management, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, Fundamentals of Management, International Business, and other relevant topics.
Experience providing innovative pedagogy and experiential learning.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching (e.g., high course evaluations, positive peer reviews of teaching, teaching awards or nominations).
More than five years professional work experience in managerial role
Experience in new venture creation, mentorship of start-up companies, support roles associated with new venture creation, student start-up team mentorship, working with institutes/centers/accelerators/incubators, and/or other start-up activities
Experience collaborating with outside organization executives.
Ability to teach courses in a manner that supports the College of Business's Business for a Better World mission.
Ability to work with student populations and to effectively manage student relationships.
Ability to contribute to an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and collegial work environment.

Position Summary
The Instructor of Management position is a 9-month non-tenure track position with benefits. The teaching load for this position is 8 sections with the schedule to be determined by the Department Chair. This position addresses teaching needs in general management, and other related topics to support various concentrations and minor programs. This position also contributes to the Department through service activities.

Essential Job Duties
Teach courses and design learning activities that support student success.
Develop and maintain course materials, assessments, and records.
Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students while contributing to departmental goals.
Teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, general management, and other related topics, which could include teaching evenings, online, and large sections.
Responsible for all aspects of course delivery including syllabus production, meeting with students, and assigning final grades.
Coordinates syllabi, course content, and grading standards in a team environment for courses that have multiple sections and several instructors, lecturers, and/or professors.
Administers courses through Colorado State University's learning management system (Canvas).
Engage in service activities by attending department meetings, serving on committees at the departmental, college, and/or university levels, and performing other relevant service.
Supervision
Potential supervision of student employees.
