About the role
Oversees and assists by monitoring daily operations to maximize efficiency. Optimizes effective integration and utilization of the various systems (technical and processes) within the department. Manages the oversight of supply inventory, quality control, and equipment maintenance and assists in the orientation, training, and evaluation of all technical and support staff. Job Duties Provides logistical coordination and planning and defines goals for team members. Audits, controls work processes, and establishes quality control systems. Mediates individual problems and unresolved problems relating to staffing morale, scheduling, work methods, procedures, salary adjustments, discipline, transfers, and other radiology concerns. Ensures procedure manuals are prepared and updated regularly. Minimum Qualifications Technical School Diploma Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Program or Associate's Degree Graduated from a Medical Imaging School or Bachelor's Degree Business or Healthcare related field 3 years management experience or 3 years healthcare related experience Ability to think logically, sequentially, and understand redesign concepts. Ability to plan and organize time and resources efficiently, resistance to stress. Ability to train technical staff to provide appropriate care/treatment. Ability to Influence and develop others, and foster team work.
