Supervise and develop Quality Technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
Establish daily priorities and workload distribution across the quality team
Conduct regular team meetings to address quality trends, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a culture of quality ownership throughout the facility
Quality Assurance & Control
Oversee in-process and final inspections of equipment throughout assembly and prior to shipping
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards (IEEE, NEMA, UL, etc.), and internal quality procedures
Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation
Manage non-conformance processes including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer notifications when required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Production Supervisors to address quality issues in real-time and prevent defects
Coordinate with Engineering on design-related quality concerns and specification clarifications
Work with Shipping to ensure proper handling and documentation of finished equipment
Support new product introductions and process validations
Process Improvement & Compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve first-pass yield
Maintain and improve quality management system documentation and procedures
Prepare quality metrics and reports for Plant Manager and leadership team
Support internal and external audits (customer, ISO, regulatory as applicable)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
Minimum of five years of quality experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least two years in a supervisory or lead role
Experience in electrical engineering a plus
Strong understanding of quality systems, methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC)
Working knowledge of quality principles within a Lean Manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, driving process improvements through collaboration, influence, and accountability
Proven experience managing by data and delivering results through structured problem‑solving and standardized processes
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred

As our business continues to grow, we are opening a new manufacturing facility near Arlington, TX, and we are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a team of Quality Technicians and establish the quality foundation for a new operation. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems, procedures, and controls, while working closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to quickly and effectively resolve quality issues. This role plays a key part in driving compliance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring reliable product performance through strong problem‑solving and collaboration.
In this role, the Quality Supervisor will lead the quality assurance function for our switchgear manufacturing facility, ensuring all products meet stringent safety, performance, and customer requirements. This position partners closely with Production Supervisors and cross‑functional teams to maintain quality standards throughout assembly and shipping operations and to embed quality into daily manufacturing practices.
