Summer Youth Drama Camp Counselors work in a team to plan and organize activities for up to 60 children ages 6-18 the week of August 4th -8th 2025. These activities will be offered to camp participants to supplement and support the theatre learning experience offered by the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT). Counselors will assist in the administration and management of all operational and programming aspects of the MCT Workshop programs to ensure the health and well-being of all staff and campers.
Essential Duties:
Develop and direct daily activities for children ages 6-18. This includes providing a written schedule complete with activity descriptions and supply lists.
Assist with daily tasks and share duties appropriately with fellow counselors.
Work with the MCT tour directors to set a daily agenda, assuring all staffing needs are covered.
Assist with coordination of communication among all staff, Missoula Children's Theatre tour directors, camp participants, and families.
Ensures that supplies are available each day and counselors are prepared for the day's activities.
Ensure the safety of all campers.
Be a point of contact for participants and their families during the camp.
Other duties as assigned.
