About the role
This role is to be responsible for the design and development of electronics hardware. Primary Responsibilities Design and develop advanced electronic control circuits, RF/VHF power modules, and power electronics for high-performance laser systems. Conduct detailed circuit analysis and optimize designs through effective component selection and performance evaluation, including circuit simulation. Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs). Support the development, refinement, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits used in Synrad laser products, ensuring high reliability and performance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to align on technical requirements and solutions. Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to support product development and integration. General Tasks Adhere strictly to all quality, occupational safety, and environmental standards in daily work. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate industrial experience in electronics hardware development. Solid understanding of analog, digital, and embedded electronics design principles. Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout; experience with Altium Designer is a plus. Strong hands-on skills in electronics prototyping, soldering, and using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and RF test equipment. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to team efforts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with EMC and safety compliance standards is desirable. Experience with FPGA-based hardware design is a plus. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
