About the role
NAB Financial Crime Operations are on a significant transformation journey to uplift our data and technology eco system to protect our customers and meet our Regulatory compliance obligations. This includes building centralised strategic financial crime data assets that will enable financial crime processes and controls. This role is critical to successful delivery of NAB's financial crime strategy by working closely with Product Owners and subject matter experts to ensure the integrity of data being ingested in financial crime systems. In addition to delivering these strategic assets, you will also be required to support project delivery through your skill set removing blockers related to technology and data deliverables. The person we are seeking is special. You will be expected to have the drive to continue the journey D&TI are on to deliver strategic assets and support the data revolution occurring in FC. Main Responsibilities: Integrate with data, technology, and business stakeholders to resolve data governance and data quality incidents, analyse solution designs to understand how they meet critical business and compliance outcomes, and use strong analysis skills to support data and technology change delivery Understanding of change delivery processes, and the ability to identify and support the resolution of potential blockers and issues to ensure speed to outcome Establish and manage Financial Crime data governance artefacts and framework in line with GIRP requirements, such as population of information into GRACE events, findings and risk memos Essential capabilities Data analysis skills, experience in SQL, Python, NoSQL Strong and flexible communication skills, able to distil and simplify complex matters, and deliver through analysis, facilitation, and coordination with stakeholders Strong administration and reporting skillset- ability to track progress of a high volume of incidents, and produce regular reporting on status and progress Stakeholder management- ability to influence a range of stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships Other capabilities Data Risk management and governance practice skills Banking knowledge and business analysis skills
