Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain plans, forecasts, and schedules for material requirements to support operational needs.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal plant support teams to ensure activities are clearly defined and executed effectively.
- Monitor daily delivery plans to ensure alignment with schedules and promptly highlight any discrepancies.
- Create purchase requisitions with consideration of request dates, component availability, capacity constraints, and other resources required to support on‑time delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date material master data in SAP (MRP views).
- Forecast raw material and component requirements and communicate plans to buyers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Receiving and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure timely release of raw materials, including coordinating and scheduling meetings as required.
- Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels and support actions to optimize inventory performance.
