Maintenance Technician

About the role

This position is responsible for the routine preventative maintenance, repairs and track services duties. Operating a variety of equipment. Basic office systems knowledge including but not limited to computer systems and programs, and cellular phone. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all preventive maintenance functions including some electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance/repairs related to building maintenance. Welds, cuts and fabricates. Tests repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency. Requisitions parts and equipment with Supervisors approval. Keeps records and reports. Provides general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility. Operate equipment as needed. Employee will be responsible for track preparation, maintenance, and restoration. Track cleaning (sweeping, blowing, applying and picking up absorbent, washing/scrubbing fluids off of the track, etc.). Reconfiguring the track between oval, full road course, modified road course, short road course, and drag strip. General maintenance around the facility, including painting. Ability to operate and maintain many different pieces of equipment including vehicles, lifts, and other heavy machinery. Installing and storing signage throughout the property. Assist with fleet management and inventory. Other duties as assigned
