About the role
As part the newly established Early Childhood Council for Jefferson, Gilpin and Clear Creek Counties, we are seeking an Early Childhood Navigation Specialist to support childcare providers and community partners across the three-county region. This position supports early care and education providers in connecting to services and supports through outreach, navigation, and technical assistance. SCHEDULE: This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, both remote/community and in-office as determined by business needs. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION DEPENDENT ON AVAILABLE FUNDS.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Three (3) years of work-related experience
- Certifications/Licenses: None
- Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Colorado early childhood systems, including licensing, CCCAP, UPK, Colorado Shines, workforce initiatives, and community-based resources.
- Experience collaborating with childcare providers, schools, community organizations, family-serving agencies, and other diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to coordinate activities effectively.
- Ability to manage deadlines, data tracking, documentation, and grant-funded program reporting requirements with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:
