The Position: Senior Registrar Assistant Job Summary: Position Overview: Muhlenberg College is currently seeking a Senior Registrar Assistant to support our students as part of a collaborative team in the Office of the Registrar. Characteristic Duties & Responsibilities: Graduation Conduct audits for college-wide degree requirements and communicate results to appropriate students, faculty, and staff in a timely fashion. Coordinate with cross campus colleagues responsible for Commencement ceremony, providing necessary reports and updates regarding student graduation status. Process and coordinate issuing of diplomas at each graduation cycle. Manage requests related to graduation, course requirements and other data needs. Transfer Credit & Cross-Registration Evaluation Review course work from other institutions and post them to the student record utilizing Workday. Collaborate with Academic Departments as well as other cross campus colleagues regarding transfer work approval. Manage TES (Transfer Evaluation System) including but not limited to collaborating with Department Chairs regarding equivalencies and maintaining the updates in TES. Collaborate with coordinators from the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges consortium to ensure students are approved and registered on the appropriate campuses. Create new LVAIC students in Workday, register them for courses, communicate key information, and provide final transcripts to home institutions. Collect and post grades for Muhlenberg students attending other LVAIC institutions and coordinate with the office of Graduate and Continuing Education billing office for students cross-registering for summer courses. General Operations Hire, train and supervise student workers. Veterans Affairs (VA) support - Provide Registrar's Office specific support for the VA program, including verifying and completing certifications for traditional residential students through the VA's Enrollment Management system, and supplying Registrar Office related documents in preparation for program audits. Convey College policy accurately to students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Assist with registration and add/drop processes, which include an understanding of the master course listings and data entry. Support the day-to-day systems and technology operations of the Registrar's Office; identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with OIT. Provide Workday registration support; assist students and faculty with course registration and troubleshooting issues via chat, email, phone and in person. Provide departmental support, including helping students at the front counter, processing electronic and print transcript requests, student course withdrawals, pass/fail requests, late add/drop/withdraw petitions, advising cohort changes. Utilize in-depth understanding of the Registrar's Office business processes to anticipate the needs of constituents; represent the department in cross-campus initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule & Benefits: This is a full-time, year-round position with standard working hours of Monday - Friday.
