About the role

As Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, leading and supporting the nursing team while working closely with the Branch Partners and Veterinary Surgeons to maintain high clinical standards and a positive team culture. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and mentoring the nursing and support team Supporting the smooth operational running of the practice Delivering high standards of inpatient and patient care Assisting with consultations, theatre, and schedule 3 procedures Supporting nurse consults and client education Managing stock control and maintaining clinical protocols Ensuring compliance with RCVS and practice standards Helping to drive team engagement and development About You We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who: Has previous leadership or senior nursing experience Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care Works well within a collaborative team environment Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills Is proactive, positive, and supportive of colleague development Enjoys a varied caseload and fast-paced environment Clinical coaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
