The Production Analyst is responsible for analyzing and maintaining daily and monthly production reports. This role will be required to file monthly regulatory forms for oil, gas, and fresh /saltwater systems and will need to communicate daily with third-party representatives to ensure the accuracy of volumetric data. In addition, the Production Analyst will need to consistently look for ways to develop process improvements. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical support to managers and engineers in all stages of development, analysis and presentation of data using knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other software Generate high-quality reports and presentations for departmental and upper management use Perform trend analysis Create queries in various software and generate reports as needed Import/maintain production data (oil/gas/water) Provide production data and reports in conjunction with company policies and procedures Responsible for loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data into various databases and software applications Prepare and analyze monthly gas and oil data from reporting services to provide accurate data to other Business Units and regulatory agencies Review daily new wells data and production to assist field offices in maintaining the accuracy of delivery systems and allocation Generate reports and provide information to internal clients and regulatory agencies as needed Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in quantitative subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance Three (3+) years of industry experience as a Production Analyst Three (3+) years of advanced Excel experience, creating and configuring VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sum IF formulas and charts Ability to perform data mining across multiple platforms
