About the role

We are seeking a Medical or Vascular ultrasound technician to become a part of our travel team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as a PRN contractor. Our patients are first responders/law enforcement enrolled in a cardiac wellness program with screening locations around the country. Dates can be scheduled in advance for technicians looking for extra income or flexible PRN work. Projects range from a few days to a couple of weeks; request dates and locations of your choosing! Our teams work throughout the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Travel to location of screening
• Station setup/breakdown
• Patient check in
• Carotid screenings - CIMT (outpatient setting, no call)
• Maintain accurate EHR records
• Required
• Previous experience with carotid ultrasound
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• BLS Certification
• Preferred
• ARDMS Certification preferred
• Licensure in Oregon
• Ability to travel ~1 week/month
