Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, supporting prioritisation, decision-making, and execution of strategic objectives .
Prepare high-quality briefing materials, board papers, and executive communications.
Track and drive delivery against key business priorities and OKRs.
Represent the COO in internal forums where required , ensuring consistency in messaging and direction.
Business Operations & Execution
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities across functions under the COO's remit (e.g. Admin, Procurement, Risk, Legal, Governance).
Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
Drive accountability across teams, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
Establish and monitor operational KPIs and performance dashboards.
Transformation & Scaling Initiatives
Lead and coordinate cross-functional transformation programs to support business growth and scalability.
Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, and benefits tracking.
Ensure strong governance, risk management, and reporting across all transformation initiatives.
Partner with business leaders to embed new operating models, processes, and ways of working.
Governance & Risk Oversight
Support the COO in maintaining strong governance frameworks and compliance standards.
Ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
Coordinate key governance forums, including agenda setting, documentation, and follow-ups.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.
Act as a central coordination point between the COO and key stakeholders.
Influence outcomes without direct authority, ensuring alignment and momentum across teams.

Key Requirements
Experience & Skills
5+ years' experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program management roles.
Proven track record in supporting senior executives (COO, CEO, or equivalent).
Strong experience in transformation, scaling operations, or organisational change.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership Capabilities
High ownership and accountability; able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
