Worker Type: Maximum Term/Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Responsible for the operational support of Desktop, Software Packaging and Release within Workplace, Performance & Quality, Capacity & Continuity, Issue & Risk Management. JOB RESPOSBILITIES Package applications/software utilizing the corporate preferred and licensed toolset Liaising with the wider resolver groups. i.e. SCCM, SOE, Service Desk, Desktop Support, etc Liaise with the stakeholders to ensure requirements are gathered and expectations are set. i.e. technical requirements, complexity and timeframes , etc. Create and maintain documentation and conforming to standards (NAB & external) Peer Reviews/Quality Assurance checkpoints and sign offs amongst the team Aim for a Zero-defect package Plan, schedule and coordinate releases following the standard lifecycle (dev, uat , test, pilot, prod) Close working relationship with software release coordinators Ensure compatibility across the environment, not limited to BOE/SOE Foresight on upcoming security releases and version uplifts Adhere to change management standards Maintain necessary skills to keep up to technology trends and changes KEY CHALLENGES: Providing technical support for a business-critical function ensuring service stability, resolution of incidents within SLA and driving efficiency within the service. Driving operational & technology change agenda to mature services in line with industry direction Ensuring service change and service transition is executed flawlessly MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS - Must have Admin Studio/Install Shield exp. SCCM/MECM/InTune management Basic Active Directory SECONDARY TECHNICAL SKILLS - Nice to have 2-5 year's support / administering medium to large-scale Windows desktop (physical and virtual) environments Proven work experience as a Software/Application Packager 2 years' experience delivering workplace services in an enterprise environment. Experience (2+ years) experience delivering service in an enterprise ITIL environment SOFT SKILLS Ability to work part of a team or autonomously Relevant industry certifications desirable.
