Responsibilities

- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, including performance management, scheduling, and conflict resolution
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure operational continuity
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities using SAP enterprise system

- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety programs and regulations.
- Provide capital project and maintenance / reliability support for multiple sites to include Bakersfield, CA, Edmonton, Canada Facility
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in chemical production environment
- Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and supervising contractors
- Technical knowledge and understanding of chemical process equipment including utility systems, piping, rotating equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret and create process drawings (e.g. layout, piping & instrumentation, electrical)
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability fundamentals
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assignments
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
Requirements
- Experience managing direct reports
- SAP Maintenance planning and scheduling experience
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and ISO 9000/QS 9001 quality systems
- Project Management certification
- Six Sigma or LEAN Manufacturing experience
