As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you will: - Attend all high-risk deliveries as required. - Be competent to perform internal and external transport of critically ill neonates as per transport policy. - Responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, documenting and evaluating patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation - Assess and document patient outcomes via EMR. Perform SBAR and participate in rounds in ICU and NICU. - Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility. - Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Qualifications include: - Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required - National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist required - Active Maryland State RRT license required - Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Required - Must obtain an Advanced Certification (NPS, ACCS, RPFT) within the 1st year of employment. C urrent AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus if transferring between entities or within the same entity. Former employees must be separated from AHC for at least six months before becoming eligible if hired into a bonus-eligible role. Pay Range: $34.58 - $51.87 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
