We've been named a Leader by multiple analyst firms and have been globally recognized for Innovation, Product Strength, and Simplicity in Design. Join us on our mission to shape the future of our industry. The Cohesity Sales Finance team is a trusted strategic partner to the Worldwide Field Organization (WWFO), translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence and informed decision-making. We weave AI into the fabric of everything we do - using it to augment analytical depth, automate repeatable workflows, and accelerate the quality of insight we deliver to the business. As Senior Finance Manager for Channel & Alliances, you will forge deep partnerships with channel leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to lead financial planning, forecasting, rebate program analysis, and performance reporting across the global partner ecosystem. This is a high-visibility role where intellectual curiosity, AI-enabled execution, and financial rigor are equally valued. You will report directly to the Director of GTM Finance. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE: Finance Business Partnership Serve as a trusted finance business partner to Channel & Alliances leadership, driving end-to-end financial planning cycles including annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close processes with rigor and precision. Be a proactive thought partner to channel leadership - not just a reporter of results. Translate financial data into strategic recommendations, surface risks before they materialize, and help the business make better decisions faster. Cultivate a deep understanding of channel go-to-market routes - including Distributors, Resellers, Global System Integrators (GSIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and OEMs - to accurately forecast quarterly program spend, model financial scenarios, and maximize return on investment across the partner portfolio. Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the monthly and quarterly close process with a focus on data quality, variance insight, and forward-looking analysis - covering bookings, headcount, operating expenses, and partner program investments. Own financial modeling and ROI analysis for partner incentive programs, including deal registration rebates, performance rebates, and SPIFF structures, ensuring program economics are evaluated rigorously and accruals are accurate . Develop and publish GTM financial packages and dashboards that deliver real-time visibility into partner performance, bookings attainment, and expense tracking across the organization. Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Analytics team, building scalable and automated reporting frameworks that support leadership decision-making. AI-First Execution & Operational Excellence Bring an AI-first mindset to every workflow - actively identify where AI tools, automation, and intelligent analytics can replace manual processes, improve accuracy, and shorten the cycle time from data to insight. Build and deploy tools that improve operational workflows, including automated rebate accrual pipelines, intelligent variance detection, and self-serve financial dashboards - eliminating dependence on one-off pulls and manual spreadsheet work. Move beyond reporting to synthesis and insight: leverage AI-assisted analysis to interpret large, complex datasets and produce concise, executive-ready narratives that inform strategic decisions. Lead the identification and execution of process improvement initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, and raise the standard of financial operations across the Channel & Alliances function. Strategic Projects & Cross-Functional Leadership Lead and support high-impact strategic projects, including end-to-end operationalization of new partner programs, business model transitions, and go-to-market evolution initiatives that advance Cohesity's growth agenda. Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Corporate Finance, Revenue Operations, Accounting, Talent Acquisition, and HR to ensure financial strategies are tightly aligned with organizational priorities. Prepare and deliver compelling financial reports and executive presentations, translating complex data into clear, concise narratives that drive leadership alignment and decision-making. Collabo
