Role Overview As a Senior Specialist for Customer Master Data, you will lead the definition of data stewardship processes, business requirements, and data quality controls that underpin the Customer Master solution. We are seeking a Business Analyst - Customer Master Data to join our team. This role is crucial in defining, governing, and enabling the processes, capabilities, and controls that ensure the integrity, quality, security, and compliance of customer master data in support of commercial operations You will work closely with commercial business process owners, data governance leaders, and technology teams to ensure that the Customer Master platform effectively supports business processes, meets compliance requirements, and delivers a trusted, high-quality data asset for analytics and operations. This role focuses on process design, requirement definition, and quality assurance , enabling stewardship execution teams while ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance strategy and AI-ready data objectives. What will you do in this role 1. Customer Data Management & Stewardship Support Support and enable Customer Master data stewardship activities , including alignment to defined SOPs, governance processes , and lifecycle workflows. Provide guidance and oversight to stewardship teams to ensure high-quality execution of data management practices. Partner with stewardship teams to identify opportunities for improved data quality, automation, and process efficiency. 2. Process Definition, Governance & Data Quality Define, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance processes for Customer Master data stewardship. Establish and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks. Identify systemic data issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive structural improvements to data processes. Maintain all Customer Master documentation including SOPs, training materials, and governance artifacts. 3. Business Requirements & Capability Development Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Customer Master enhancements. Translate business use cases into scalable data, workflow, and system solutions. Lead cross-functional workshops with stakeholders across business, operations, and IT. Ensure Customer Master capabilities align with evolving commercial and operational needs. 4. Testing, UAT, and Release Validation Participate in all aspects of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement definition and release validation. Define UAT strategy, create test scenarios, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Coordinate with downstream consumers to support integrated testing and ensure successful releases. Support release readiness including documentation, communication, and impact assessment. 5. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Alignment Collaborate with Business, Operations, and IT stakeholders to ensure data management processes support key business use cases.
