The Wafer Test Process Engineering Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing wafer test processes to ensure high-quality, stable, and efficient semiconductor manufacturing.
This role focuses on process development, yield improvement, product qualification, and continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment across equipment, systems, and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
New Process & Product Qualification
Plan and schedule qualification activities for wafer test processes in new R&D and new package introduction projects
Execute process and product qualifications within committed timelines
Lead overall process integration, including IT systems, to ensure smooth end-to-end manufacturing flow
Collaborate with Business Group (BG) teams to validate, modify, and align test programs with specifications
Set up engineering lots, collect test data, and generate qualification reports
Yield Improvement & Line Sustaining
Sustain wafer test yield above designated targets
Ensure timely quality release of Lots on Hold (LOH)
