As a French-speaking Sales Engineer , you will play a key role in driving business growth across the French market. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will develop new business opportunities, manage relationships with customers and sales agents, and contribute to the continued expansion of our market presence. This role can be based in either France or Italy , with regular travel within the French market. Your Opportunity Implement sales strategies that support revenue growth and profitability objectives. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the French market. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions. Collaborate with the Sales Application team to develop accurate and competitive proposals. Coordinate, support, and motivate external sales agents to achieve commercial targets. Monitor sales agent performance through KPIs and provide guidance where needed. Organize regular meetings with agents to review results, discuss opportunities, and align sales activities. Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with customers. Represent Munters at customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and networking activities. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth. Analyze sales performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations to management. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction. Your Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Ideally 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development. Experience within industrial equipment, process industries, environmental technologies, or related sectors is highly desirable. Experience with RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) systems is highly preferred. Please note that this role focuses on industrial emission control solutions rather than conventional HVAC or air-conditioning systems. Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and consultative selling techniques. Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage complex technical sales cycles. Experience working with sales agents, distributors, or indirect sales channels is a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools. Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into commercial actions. Strategic, results-driven, and capable of working independently. Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Italian is considered a strong advantage. Willingness to travel regularly within France.
