Are you a surgical nurse who thrives where precision, teamwork, and purpose intersect? Logan Health is seeking a RN | CVOR | Surgery Circulator to join our high-performing Operating Room team. This is more than a circulator role - it's an opportunity to be a trusted patient advocate in some of the most complex and life-saving procedures we perform.
From pre-op preparation through the final count, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, seamless, and compassionate surgical care in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Serve as the primary patient advocate throughout the perioperative experience, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort.
Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments, patient positioning, and surgical site preparation.
Establish and manage access lines including IVs and Foley catheters .
Maintain a sterile, highly organized surgical environment , anticipating needs and responding in real time.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and OR staff to support complex CVOR procedures.
Coordinate care across departments to ensure continuity before, during, and after surgery.
Support operational excellence by assisting with room turnover, equipment readiness, and supply management.
Respond calmly and decisively to rapidly changing patient conditions in a high-acuity environment.
Required Qualifications
Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
1+ year(s) of RN experience in an acute care, surgical, or perioperative setting.
Active HCP CPR and/or BLS certification (as required by service line).
Strong working knowledge of:
Professional nursing theory and practice
Medical terminology
Infection prevention and control standards
OSHA regulations and HIPAA guidelines
Demonstrated ability to:
Prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn new clinical systems.
