The University of Central Florida UCF RESTORES is seeking qualified candidates for a Mental Health Clinician I position. UCF RESTORES is a provider of evidence-based Trauma Management Therapy. The Mental Health Clinician I is responsible for providing empirically supported treatments to clients with anxiety, stress, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy services, group therapy services, assessments, crisis intervention and consultation, evaluation and support services.
Responsible for integrating technology into the delivery of prevention, resilience, and intervention efforts, including the use of virtual reality and virtual environments, web-based technologies, and mobile phone applications.
Provide outreach programming and workshops on developmental, preventative, peer-support and psychological topics.
Assist with training programs for first responders, clinicians, graduate students, and medical students.
Serve as liaison between UCF RESTORES and community-based agencies, mental health hospitals and private practitioners.
Assist administrators and groups in resolving specific program problems and in disseminating information in regard to clinic rules, policies, and contracts.
May perform other clinical or administrative duties as requested.
Requirements
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor by the State of Florida and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Experience providing Trauma Management Therapy.
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor (not intern licensed) by the State of Florida by the time of application.
Experience collaborating with community partners, hospitals, first responders, or multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and outreach services.

Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
