Quality & Safety Coordinator

About the role

Lead and coordinate clinical governance and quality improvement activities across two acute Private Hospitals. Engage in accreditation preparation and readiness including leading NSQHS Standards and NCTGF compliance. Provide expert advice to staff, managers, and executives on patient safety and quality. Manage incidents, complaints and quality improvement using RiskMan and other systems. Promote a culture of safety and compliance through education, audit and support. About You Qualification - Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA registration (Post Graduation preferred). Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in an acute, surgical hospital environment. Experience working on clinical quality, safety, risk, and/or compliance activities. Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously within the multidisciplinary team. Methodical, detailed, and thorough in your approach to tasks, with strong critical thinking skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to conversations of a sensitive nature.
