Job Description: Job Summary:** CROWN Beverage Cans Ziyang Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of our high-speed beverage can manufacturing processes and equipment. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across the plant. Job Responsibilities:** * Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems and components for beverage can manufacturing equipment, including presses, decorators, and finishing lines. * Conduct feasibility studies, stress analyses, and simulations to optimize equipment performance and ensure structural integrity. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, electrical, quality, maintenance) to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and improve manufacturing processes. * Develop and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and bills of materials for new equipment and modifications. * Manage projects from concept to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades. * Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. * Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies and materials to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-volume production or packaging. * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. * Strong understanding of mechanical principles, kinematics, dynamics, and material science. * Experience with PLC control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics is a plus. * Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead technical initiatives. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage What Crown Offers You Strong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees The opportunity to build a meaningful career Professional and personal development through training and work experiences Join us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!
