About the role
As a key priority, Remitly is looking for a 6 month fixed term Senior Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a new consumer financial product launch into the EU and UK. The role involves taking the product from regulatory engagement and licence application through to product, technical, go-to-market readiness, and into successful in-market launch. You Will: Lead end-to-end programme delivery for the launch of a new regulated consumer financial product in the EU and UK, including the project plan, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination Support the preparation and coordination of regulatory responses, including Requests for Information (RFIs), across jurisdictions including the FCA and CBI, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and well-organised Partner with Global Product, Engineering, and Design to drive product and technical readiness in line with launch milestones, including adapting the global platform for EU and UK regional requirements Serve as the primary point of accountability for stakeholder coordination, ensuring the right people are informed, engaged, and unblocked at the right time Facilitate and document regular stakeholder touchpoints, producing meeting minutes and structured next steps to keep the programme on track Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and blockers across open items, overdue tasks, and cross-functional dependencies, escalating where appropriate Manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams, maintaining pace and clarity without losing sight of programme-level objectives Work with colleagues to scope regulatory requirements and ensure cross-functional teams meet these requirements within established timelines Lead programme rituals like standups, reviews, and retrospectives Build and maintain programme documentation to support continuity and scalability Develop frameworks and processes that enable repetition and scalability across regulatory programmes You Have: 6+ years of experience overseeing complex projects, and working with diverse teams in an agile environment Track record of launching regulated consumer financial products into a new market or jurisdiction Experience in regulated financial services or regulatory change management Experience with payment licence preparation or regulatory application processes is a plus; familiarity with institutions such as the FCA, CBI, or CBUAE is welcomed but not required Experience with payment licence preparation or regulatory application processes, with exposure to institutions such as the CBUAE, FCA, CBI or equivalent welcomed.
