Provide strategic thought leadership to the business in managing and achieving strategic priorities and driving shareholder accretion.
Manage in a matrix organization, building strong relationships with Operating Committee business leaders, their direct reports and finance counterparts.
Transform Corporate FP&A to deliver relevant insightful business and financial analysis to improve company performance including transformation of FP&A processes and Centre of Excellence in India
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, Client Management, Legal and various Finance partners.
Support external audit & internal audit reviews, as needed.
Demonstrate strong people leadership capability to develop a highly performing team that is recognized as such by key customers in the business.
Requirements
Candidate with 15 years of Experience (3-5 years as a Director Level) with outstanding, overall financial competence. Chartered Accountant / MBA equivalent preferred.
Must be able to influence and work effectively multiple customers at different levels across various functional areas/geographies. The ability to build strong relationships with Executive Leadership Team members and senior leaders is essential.
Must be able to deliver hard results against clear timeframes to drive the business forward to translate business strategies and concepts into viable solutions
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, plus excellent analytical / financial modeling skills and insightful strategic judgment.
High level of comfort with ambiguity operating in a highly flexible, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Demonstrated aptitude to consult & diagnose issues, problem solve and implement plans to drive solutions at the most senior levels of the organization.
Strong people leader, able to develop and bring the best out of the team to deliver high performance.
Self-motivator, driven and hard-working individual who will not only contribute to the business, but also to the wellbeing and advancement of the Finance function as a whole.
Knowledge of travel economic model, products, segmentation, key functions and travel competitive environment/industry trends is highly advantageous.
Excellent English communication & presentation skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
