Performing Artist Responsibilities & Duties Perform live shows in various venues Collaborate with other performers and creative team members Create and rehearse performances, including choreography, music, and dialogue Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments Represent the organization professionally and positively in all interactions with the public and other industry professionals Maintain and manage performance-related equipment and costumes Performing Artist Qualifications & Skills Experience in multiple performance styles, including theater, music, dance, and comedy Expertise in musical instruments, singing, or other performance skills Ability to create and lead workshops and classes for aspiring performers Proficiency in stage management and production Experience in tour management and coordination Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts or related field preferred 5+ years of professional performance experience Strong stage presence and ability to connect with audiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and to take direction from creative team members Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
