About the role

As an entry-level Civil Engineer in our Transportation group, you will support the design of highway and bridge projects for DOT clients. Working under a Professional Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience with roadway design, including plan development and construction documentation, while building the technical foundation needed to progress toward your PE license. Key responsibilities: Assist with roadway and transportation design for highway and bridge projects. Support plan production, including drawings, modeling, and design calculations. Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. Help prepare construction documents and plan sets. Contribute to problem-solving with guidance from licensed engineers. Support project teams through the coordination and completion of assigned tasks. Assist with construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittals. Participate in field observations and site visits as needed. Develop technical skills and apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
