The Counter Analyst function is the first input filter for the requests of our clients/producers, providing support and experience in the branches and movements requested, in issuance and quotation. This position has the responsibility of analyzing and assigning issuance or quote requests that are received via email, applying the existing checklists for receiving work orders and complying with the policies and procedures established for the protection of information. What you need to know: The primary purpose is to analyze, according to the established policies, the requests received via email and assign the issuance or quotation procedures, as applicable, reporting any deviation as an OFAC alert. Must comply with the process of safeguarding in the tool designed for this, the document that supports the entry of the applications as well as the formal response to the applicant of the procedure entered. Determinate whether the applications are accepted or declined according to the existing policies for it, as well as document the formal rejection of issuance or quotation. If necessary, must segment the workloads. Your contribution at AIG The employee must be able to enter an average of 900 requests per month Duties and Responsibilities 1. Functional Responsibilities: Analyze requests for issuance or quotation, complying with the policies and procedures established by the company Maintain accurate system data and documentation by collecting, recording, and analyzing information. Requires contact with other areas of the company such as underwriting, claims, issuance or sales Provide quality service and attention since the main contact is with agents / clients Respond as far as possible, incoming inquiries in accordance with company policies and procedures, within the limits of the area 2. Accountabilities: The position must respond in a timely manner, being totally clear in case of any rejection. They must carefully review the documentation received and must keep the mailboxes within the SLA, paying special attention to the priorities set and special businesses to avoid leaving the SLA. They must maintain close and continuous communication with the areas involved in the process. 3. Leadership Skills Empathy ability to understand customer needs and concerns. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage complaints effectively. Ability to prioritize workload and diary management. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with different work teams. 4 . Technical Skills and Expertise Management of computer equipment in general, and Microsoft Office tools, preferably Outlook and Excel Management and control of electronic files
