About the role
The Personal Trainer will provide members and non-members with an exercise prescription in a friendly, motivating, and professional manner. Will conduct sessions in a safe environment. The personal trainer maintains supervision of clients throughout session.
Responsibilities
- Trainer is genuinely friendly and concerned for the client's well-being. He/she interacts positively with clients before, during or after sessions and uses their name when appropriate.

- Trainer maintains current CPR certification and is knowledgeable about emergency response chain. CBL's are complete. Instructor maintains national personal training certification.
- Trainer is able to handle customer relation issues in a professional manner while not getting personally involved. The Trainer relays all information to manager or MOD and completes appropriate documentation.
- Trainer attends bi-monthly staff meetings.
Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
- 1 year Personal training experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
