Operations Director (3PL)

Responsibilities

• Led a multi-site contract logistics portfolio, providing strategic direction and operational leadership across multiple facilities.
• Developed and mentored senior leadership teams, driving operational excellence and succession planning.
• Partnered with Commercial, Business Development, and Solution Design teams to support business growth, key tenders, and new customer implementations.
• Directed workforce planning and organizational strategies to ensure scalability and long-term business sustainability.
• Spearheaded digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer value.
• Held overall responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement across the portfolio.
• Served as the executive point of contact for key regional and global customers, ensuring strong partnerships and service excellence.
• Led warehouse expansion, infrastructure planning, automation projects, and CAPEX investments to support business growth.
• Fostered cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Engineering, IT, HR, and Commercial teams to drive efficiency and business success..

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline is required. MBA or Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
• At least 12-15 years of leadership experience within a leading 3PL, contract logistics, or supply chain environment.
• Strong track record in managing large multi-site operations, leading senior operational teams, and driving business growth and operational excellence.
• Experience in P&L management, customer stakeholder engagement, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Exposure to automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations will be highly advantageous.
