Lead Multi-Workstream Engagements: Execute complex consulting projects across multiple clients, prioritizing objectives and applying project management methodologies to deliver results within scope, quality standards, and timelines
Apply Hotel Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of hotel program strategy, sourcing, and RFP tools (Cvent, Sabre RFP, ReadyBid) to drive client program optimization and compliance
Develop Data-Driven Insights: Analyze TMC travel data and supplier/third-party data to develop hypotheses, validate analyses, and create compelling recommendations that drive client ROI
Create Custom Models & Scenarios: Build data visualizations and custom models using available datasets to support strategic decision-making and client presentations
Manage Global Supplier Relationships: Lead supplier partnerships while representing both client and consultancy interests, navigating complex negotiations and maintaining strategic alignment
Mentor Consulting Analysts: Partner with and guide junior team members, fostering their development while ensuring engagement quality and practice line growth
Drive Client Value & Retention: Successfully navigate large global organizations, articulate project value to all stakeholder levels, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth
Implement Organizational Change: Apply change management techniques to drive sustainable engagement impact, ensuring client adoption and long-term program success
Distill Complex Strategy into Key Messages: Communicate sophisticated subject matter clearly to team members and clients, translating analysis into actionable insights
Requirements
Consulting & Hotel Strategy Experience: 3-5 years in traditional consulting and/or hotel strategy, sourcing, and optimization roles
Travel Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated experience and understanding of the travel industry, including corporate travel programs and dynamics
Advanced Analytical Skills: Strong ability to think conceptually, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions using data interpretation and presentation
Data Visualization Proficiency: Expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Birst, Power BI, or similar platforms
Hotel Platform Expertise: Experience managing hotel programs through platforms such as Cvent and related sourcing tools
Financial & Business Operations Acumen: Knowledge of strategy, financial/business operations, and cost management
Microsoft Office Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with strong concentration in Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling internal and external presentations to diverse audiences
Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred; PMI certification a plus

The US national base salary range for this position is from
$88,200.00 - $163,800.00
The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.

The GBC team consists of Consultants from a wide variety of backgrounds such as Air/Hotel/Ground industries, travel, management consulting, IT consulting and general management.
