All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount qualified specialized experience. Qualifications: To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience OR Educational Requirements for the GS-9 level. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-9, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: Experience in applying Policy, Regulation, and Technical Requirements to Job Functions; Experience coordinating with internal and external contacts; Experience monitoring activities and ensuring compliance/regulations are being followed; Experience reviewing, evaluating, and processing administrative documents; and Experience in maintaining organized administrative files and records in accordance with established policy and procedures. MUST MEET ALL SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE STATEMENTS IF QUALIFYING BASED SOLELY OFF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. -OR- Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED) -OR- Combination of education and experience: A combination of specialized experience and education that totals 100% of the requirement for the GS-09 grade level. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED) Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
