Portfolio, Innovation & Long‑Term Growth
Drive portfolio placement and system‑level positioning across Schaeffler divisions
Lead joint roadmap and innovation discussions (e.g. SDV, electrification, connectivity, Defense and Robotics)
Translate customer strategy into tangible business opportunities across NXP Business Lines
Influence new product definitions within NXP and long‑term investment decisions to secure sustainable share
Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Management
Ensure structured account governance , including QBRs, executive reviews, and internal alignment forums with all NXP management levels
Proactively manage risk, complexity, and dependencies across regions, contracts, and technologies
Serve as final escalation layer for quality, supply, and commercial conflicts
Balance short‑term pressure with long‑term partnership health
Your Profile:
Electrical engineering degree or similar. Knowledge about Electronic / Semiconductor products in the Automotive environment and their usage in the automotive application fields
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in semiconductor Marketing or Sales Customer and business focus. Flexibility, motivation, and networking ability are requested for this position at all management levels
Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner
Highly analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and communicate these internally to relevant Business Lines

Role Purpose
The Global Key Account Director (GKAM) has end‑to‑end ownership and full accountability for the global Schaeffler AG account.
This role defines and drives the overall account strategy, commercial performance, and executive relationship , while providing direct and functional leadership to the assigned Account Managers (G5) and extended virtual account team.
The GKAM represents the single point of ultimate accountability for revenue, profitability, growth, and long‑term strategic positioning of NXP across all Schaeffler business units and regions.
