The BFHR Manager (Business-Focused Human Resources Manager) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives to drive business performance, employee engagement, and sustainable growth. This role leads a team of BFHRs and collaborates closely with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to design and deliver integrated solutions across talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, GBS, performance development, and organizational design.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business strategies into effective HR priorities and initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with leadership to understand business needs and proactively develop HR solutions that enable organizational success.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on leadership effectiveness, team development, performance management, and complex employee relations issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BFHRs to ensure consistent, high-quality HR support across functions or business units.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, GBS) to deliver seamless, scalable, and business-aligned HR programs.
  • Drive workforce planning and talent strategies, including talent planning, succession planning, career pathing, and leadership development.
  • Leverage HR analytics and key metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, diversity, performance outcomes) to generate insights, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices, minimizing risk and maintaining organizational integrity.
  • Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives, ensuring effective implementation, minimal disruption, and high colleague engagement.
  • Partner with leadership on headcount planning, budgeting, and organizational design to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Leverage deep business acumen to lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, delivering measurable gains in productivity and operational performance.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture, acting as a role model and cultural ambassador across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in a Business Partner or HR leadership role.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders in complex, fast-paced, and matrixed environments.
