MISSION: We are expanding Coface Finance team and looking for an experienced Accountant (Location: Thailand). This role goes beyond routine accounting - the successful candidate will play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial closing, driving operational excellence and accounting simplification process with shared service team, and supporting finance governance & control. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead end-to-end finance & accounting processes for Coface Thailand and Vietnam Month-end and Year-end closing - liasing with external acccounting firms and Coface Shared Service Center (SSC) for closing activities. Ensure timely closing activities and maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records, review tasks done by external accounting firms and SSC Cash forecast and actual monitoring - Prepare cash forecast for Coface Thailand and Vietnam, ensure forecasting accuracy and act as key liaison with our banking partner Financial planning & analysis - Lead budget process and prepare monthly financial planning analysis on key variances to Country Managers and Regional CFO Audit & tax requirement - Coordinate closely with external auditor & tax firm to ensure completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax filings in accordance with applicable accounting standards and local regulatory requirements. Internal audit, compliance, risk management - Be a level 1 control owner for Coface Thailand and Vietnam; and collaborate with internal auditor, compliance officer and risk manager Collaborate and provide guidance to SSC team in India Adhere to Coface's core value Client focus; Expertise; Courage & accountability; Collaboration Support Regional CFO to drive " Operational excellence" initiative - continuously driving process improvement, simplification & efficiency with close collaboration with Shared Service Center team in Bangalore Live "ONE SEA & INDIA finance team" vision - support & strongly collaborate with other finance team members; display positive mindset Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A, and/or audit. Proven experience in managing accounting functions within multinational corporations (MNCs). Demonstrated experience in driving operational excellence initiatives, including finance process improvement and simplification. Experience working with shared services teams (offshore/overseas) as well as external accounting firm models. Professional certification such as Thailand CPA or CPD is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
