Working knowledge of 480, 277, and 120 volt electrical systems (single and three phase).
Experience with and working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller).
Experience welding with stick or MIG a plus
Physical abilities: Site inspections, equipment inspections, mechanical repairs and replacements, all of which require good mobility, physical exertion, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, carrying tools and parts, etc.
Experience with MS Office programs: Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to work independently of supervisor following procedures and manuals.
Years Of Experience
2-5: Hold an Associate's Degree for Electro-Mechanical studies or 3-5 years equivalent experience in the electro-mechanical field
2-5: Ability to read and interpret electrical or electronic schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns for troubleshooting and repairs, while understanding complex automated system drawings and component specification sheets.
2-5: Possess sufficient Electrical or Mechanical aptitude to replace electrical and mechanical components of Symbotic Rovers (BOTS) and perform preventive maintenance.

As an Automation Technician II, you will maintain an automated material handling system. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous system operation by troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and performing preventive maintenance activities.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2pm to 10:30PM
Compensation starting at $26-$33/per hour. Plus a .50 cent night differential from 5pm.
You will contribute by:
Maintain all systems and subsystems of the automated material handling system. Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing thorough in-depth troubleshooting on any non-functioning or faulted system, subsystem, or component. Keep Management informed of specific problems and suggested actions, including approximate time required for repairs.
Remove and replace control components, reload parameters for PLC product lines, and other like components, such as server-based controls or industrial PCs
Troubleshoot and replace field bus communication components on the material handling conveyor systems, including addressing components and running diagnostics. Be able to remove and replace mechanical parts of the conveyor, such as: repairing broken chain, belting, rollers, drive motors, realigning or replacing control system sensors (photo-eyes), proximity, etc. Diagnose and replace as required electronic sensors, including reprogramming and alignment.
Maintenance (PM) actions on automated conveyor equipment as directed.
Document repairs, PMs, parts usage, and time by completing work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Responsible for the cleanup of equipment and removal of replaced parts from work areas after repairs are completed.
Assist and train other automation team technicians in troubleshooting and repairs of any equipment as required, consistent with the level of experience and training.
