Job Purpose : To act as the pricing analyst for day-to-day input and support of managing pricing errors resulting in Price Overrides. To ensure that customer accounts are accurate or rectified to ensure customer payments are received in line with their payment terms. Facilitate urgent changes to enable accurate invoicing. Act as a senior & a coach within the Customer Service team on various automation and CI opportunities. Lead key and complex customer and business engagements to ensure BP's debtor position is proactively managed in line with the BP Credit Policy ensuring both working capital impact and risk to the Business Units are minimised. Key Accountabilities: Provide support to Sales and AR/Cash Teams on day-to-day activity relating to Value Only Credits & Price Overrides for the Lubricants business Create and administer VOC's and PO's into the various systems to ensure accurate invoicing Facilitate urgent price changes in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and prompt payment Review pricing of similar product combinations in times of tight supply or product replacement Connect with regional AR teams on required activities Act as the COE for the Cash & Credit Team on all aspects of pricing for CI and automation opportunities Together with the AR consultant, provide proactive relationship management for Key Customers, managing aspects including: account queries, portfolio management, receivables, ensuring a streamlined and highly accountable service offering through end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) processes Connect with sales managers to facilitate account payments and query resolution Build and maintain proactive relationships with the Global Customer teams & Business Partners Key Challenges : Work across a diverse range of Customer Accounts and effectively negotiate customer adherence to terms and pricing related queries Ensure Pricing requests and implementation is aligned with established DofA framework Maintain exceptional external & internal relationships with view to improving processes Working across diverse cultures, locations and global processes. May require to work across global markets and should be flexible to work across time-zones Engage with O2C process teams to support delivery of positive customer O2C experience Engage with Sales Team across the Global businesses to support streamlined service delivery to customer Education and Experience: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Preferred) 5-7 years of experience in pricing analytics, Accounts Receivable/Collections or other Order to Cash roles Proven track record of identifying and resolving root cause of pricing errors and working with others to sustainably resolve Proficient Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications, SAP, JDE, Salesforce, etc. Strong problem solving skills Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills and ability to function effectively, independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities and take direction from many sources; flexibility and adaptability to change.
