Systems Administration: Maintain servers, storage, and virtualization environments; perform updates, backups, and troubleshooting for optimal performance.
Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure; monitor performance and security, resolve issues.
Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies; conduct assessments and audits to mitigate risks.
Team Leadership: Mentor IT staff, support professional growth, and collaborate with other departments on IT solutions.
Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and objectives met; coordinate with vendors and providers.
End User Support: Point of escalation for Tier III and above support issues
Key Attributes:
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols.
Experience with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proven ability to drive process improvements within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.
Highly collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or relevant industry experience
Requirements
Required: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on Endpoint, Systems, and Network Management.
Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products and Enterprise Business Software.
Preferred: Experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, VMWare, and Advance Security Tools.
