Create, maintain, and evolve test environments , including network topologies, hardware setups, and automated test frameworks tailored to communication‑centric devices.-
Troubleshoot complex network setups , including switch configurations, routing behavior, VLANs, redundancy protocols, and industrial network technologies (e.g., DLR, PRP, CIP, and EtherNet/IP).
Develop functional, performance, stress, and interoperability tests using white‑box, grey‑box, and black‑box methodologies.-
Analyze test outcomes, identify anomalies, and document defects with clear reproduction steps and technical insights.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and network engineers to investigate issues, validate fixes, and ensure product behavior under real‑world industrial conditions.-
Ensure verification and validation coverage , contributing to product reliability, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Develop new test cases and test assets as product features evolve, ensuring coverage of system interactions.-
Use specialized tools and analyzers (e.g., packet sniffers, protocol analyzers, traffic generators) to validate network behavior and diagnose communication issues.- Participate in planning, estimation, and status discussions , helping define priorities and deliverables for test activities.-
Expand knowledge of networking technologies , industrial automation standards, and modern testing methodologies.-
Provide technical insights and informal presentations to share findings, propose improvements, and support team knowledge growth.-
Monitor new IT/OT trends and technologies , evaluating their relevance to Rockwell's product ecosystem.-
