About the role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Complex Needs Practitioner to join the Solihull Integrated Addiction Service (SIAS), delivered in partnership with Aquarius Action Projects and partner organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to support adults affected by substance use and gambling, helping them make positive changes and achieve improved outcomes. As a Complex Needs Practitioner, you will work across a variety of settings, providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs. You will empower clients to address substance misuse issues, reduce risk, build resilience and move forward in recovery. Working closely with partner agencies and professionals, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate support within the local community. Key Duties Provide person-centred support and interventions to adults affected by substance use and gambling Work with clients to develop and review recovery and support plans Carry out assessments, risk assessments and ongoing case management Support clients to reduce harm, improve wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes Build effective working relationships with voluntary and statutory agencies, health professionals and partner organisations Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational and contractual requirements Deliver support across a range of community and service delivery settings Promote safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment About You Have an understanding of drug, alcohol, offending and health-related issues Hold a qualification in health and social care, youth and community work or a related field (NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling or Addiction Studies), or have relevant experience within the substance misuse field and willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification Have experience supporting adults within an addictions or complex needs setting Be confident engaging with clients from a range of backgrounds and in different environments Have experience liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and healthcare professionals Possess strong communication, organisation and record-keeping skills Be competent in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate case records Have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting clients and service delivery Be committed to confidentiality, safeguarding and delivering compassionate, recovery-focused support For Full Job Description Please Click Here
