Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair 3D models, including corrupt files, misaligned scans, and faulty geometry
- Perform stitching and assembly of multiple 3D scans into unified models
- Analyze and assess model quality to identify root causes of issues and determine appropriate fixes
- Utilize command-line tools, terminal environments, and scripting to diagnose and resolve technical problems
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated model issues impacting customers
- Assess and respond to customer issues related to 3D models, add-on features, subscriptions, and services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college
- 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, 3D graphics, or technical 3D environments
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with: Terminal / command-line interfaces
- Scripting or technical debugging workflows
- Strong ability to analyze, diagnose, and repair 3D models
- Proven problem-solving skills in complex, evolving technical scenarios
- High attention to detail, particularly with complex geometry and spatial data issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Experience in industries such as gaming, VFX, simulation, architecture, or 3D visualization
- Background in model cleanup, scene assembly, or multi-model stitching workflows
- Familiarity with proprietary or non-GUI-based tools and systems
- Experience working in technical support or post-production environments
- Exposure to tools like Salesforce or similar ticketing/workflow systems
