About the role
This position is located in Safety and Technical Training, Technical Training Directorate, Technical Operations Training Group (AJI-2300). This Group is responsible for leveraging practical field and instructional experience to create training solutions that empower engineers and technicians to confidently operate and maintain critical NAS equipment. Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-H or FG/GS-11) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience installing or maintaining technical equipment to analyze new technologies for contribution to short and long-term training development goals. Experience testing and repairing weather and information systems to assist in the development of objectives, course material, lesson plans and examinations.
