Brown & Brown is seeking a Director of Public Entity Insurance Administration to join our growing team in Parsippany, NJ! To work jointly with the Profit Center Leader, division producers, claims administration and support staff in the placement and servicing of public entity accounts that are in a joint insurance fund administrated by the profit center. How You Will Contribute: Develop a full understanding of the regulations governing joint insurance funds in the State of New Jersey. Identify all markets and other alternative risk mechanisms for the placement of public entity business. Understand and incorporate procedures that are required by alternative risk placements in the servicing of new and existing business. Be proficient in the knowledge of public entity insurance so to identify risk exposures and applicable coverages. Assist in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data and the ability to condense material into excel worksheets as required by carriers. Review quotations, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy. Meet established time frames of reporting as required by the State regulations governing joint insurance funds. Assist in providing administrative services to the joint insurance fund in accordance with State regulations. Delegate to support staff specific assignments and monitor for thoroughness and completion within given timeframes. Assist support staff and producers with any service related matters. Attend meetings as required by the profit center manager. Licenses & Certifications: Must have a current a valid NJ Property & Casualty insurance license. High School certificate. Skills & Experience to be Successful: Minimum of five years of public entity insurance experience or equivalent property and casualty experience. Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional customer relation skills Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Prior experience in a supervisory or management position. Pay Range $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
