Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models for seed quality analysis, classification, and prediction
Work with diverse datasets to support automation and decision-making
Translate operational and research questions into scalable analytical solutions
Contribute to integrating data-driven solutions into operational processes and systems
Contribute to end-to-end solution development, from data exploration to deployment and continuous improvement
Work in an Agile environment, continuously iterating and improving solutions based on feedback
Partner with IT and data platform teams to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions

What you bring as a future colleague
A bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
Strong Python skills, including experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and data science libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy
Experience with AI, machine learning and predictive modeling
Proven experience with data pipelines, cloud environments (f.e. ata Bricks, Azure ML, and Blob storages), or MLOps is a plus
Experience with version control and collaborative development practices
Willingness to collaborate internationally and occasionally travel
A curious mindset and willingness to learn about biological processes and production environments

As a Data Scientist within the Seed Robotics & AI team, you will develop data-driven solutions that improve seed quality, producibility, and processing efficiency. You play a key role in translating complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions. Your work contributes to optimizing seed production processes, enabling automation, and improving decision-making across operations and R&D.
