This role is on site in our Pleasanton, California office The People Business Generalist II provides broad support across the People function, assisting with employee relations, policy administration, onboarding, and HR processes. This role supports People Business Partners and People leadership in delivering consistent programs and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The Senior Generalist contributes to process improvements, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day operations that enable a positive employee experience. Duties and Responsibilities Support People Business Partners in administering HR programs, policies, and processes. Provide guidance to employees on HR procedures, benefits, and policies, escalating complex issues as needed. Assist with employee relations cases, documentation, and investigations under the direction of senior staff. Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities. Partner with Payroll, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth execution of people processes. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy, labor law, and reporting requirements. Contribute to HR communications, trainings, and initiatives that strengthen engagement and culture. Support workforce reporting and analytics by preparing reports and ensuring data accuracy. Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and consistency. Serve as a resource to employees and managers, providing day-to-day operational HR support. Job Complexity: Handles tasks of moderate scope within established policies and practices. Requires problem-solving and judgment to address employee issues and support business needs. Required Supervision: Operates under moderate supervision. Work is reviewed for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with HR practices. Expertise: Demonstrates solid knowledge of HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements. Applies experience to resolve issues and recommend improvements to programs and workflows.
